Curtiss-Wright wins more F-16 business

December 22, 2004 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Curtiss-Wright Controls Inc. has received follow-on purchase orders worth $5.75 million to supply wing-flap drive systems for the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
The orders are part of a long-term agreement to supply components to Lockheed Martin, which is overseeing construction of the fighter jets.

The parts will be produced at the company's plant in Shelby.

Curtiss-Wright Controls announced a contract earlier this week worth $1.2 million to supply spare wing parts for the F-16.
