Was stationed at Moody AFB, GA 1987-1990. Although I was trained on the F-16, I arrived at Moody and they only had F-4E aircraft. Worked in the 69th originally and was transferred to the 70th because they were scheduled to get F-16's before the 69th. The F-4E that I was originally assigned to was either 67-392 or 69-392 and was the 70th squadron aircraft. It had two mig kills. I was assistant crew chief to William (Bill) Norris on F-16A 81-684 and then under "Hutch" on 80-542 I am now Vice President of Aircraft Services for a private aircraft charter and maintenance company. Current or Favourite assignmentThe people I worked with almost 20 years ago are still quite memorable.Bill Prince, Bill Norris, Mike Sweeney, Guy Oyadomari, Jeff McKnight and many others. DeploymentsDuring my time at Moody, I was involved in one TDY and we went to Ramstein AB in Germany. |
