Brand new to the AF in 2004. I enlisted with the NY Air Guard after getting the run-around by the Army and active duty AF. After working 8 years on a civilian ramp, I had been warned about the active duty mind games. A month after becoming a 3-level, I volunteered to augment a fellow Guard unit in Iraq.
Current or Favourite assignmentThe 174th is a highly respected, professional unit. After working on the civilian side and observing aircraft from all branches of the military, I finally found a unit that takes the appearance of their jets as serious as the mechanical condition. |
