Spangdhalem AB. I was involved in the transition from F-4Es to F-16Cs. I accepted 86-0231 from the factory. I actually got to visit the factory in DFW as part of the acceptance. As an aside. I helped service the F-111s that bombed Libya as they stopped at Spangdahlem on their return home. |
