Patch 429th
Tom Wharton, Feb 13, 2008 - 05:22 PM

Cool to see that patch was still used, I developed that patch myself back in 1981 when we (429th) first got the F-16. Nice to see the squadron kept it all these years...

The 495th "Green Section" Mark Edwards?
SSGT. Stormin' Norm Cook, Dec 14, 2009 - 02:44 AM

Checking to see if you are the same Mark Edwards that worked in the 495th "Green Section" at the Heath? The Mark Edwards I worked with at the Heath lived...if memory serves me....out towards Bury St. Edmunds? I was the Crew Dawg on 1446 with Bruce Edge. I was at Lakenheath from Jan. '84 - '88. We had an awesome crew at that time.....TSGT Keith "Hoppy" Hopkins, Dale Butler, Mark Danforth, Mark McGinnues, Henry Koch and so many others that all I can see are their faces!

If this is YOU, then it is ironic to see that you were also a "Top Dawg" with the 61st! After the Heath, I spent '88 -'90 at MacDill AFB working in the 61st! I was there about 5 months when the block 30's came in!! I was the first Crew Chief on 87-0349!

Keep 'em flying!
