| I worked at Hill AFB from 1991 to 1995. When I first arrived there we had block 40's and in 1993 we received block 50's. The 4th was the only Squadron to get the block 50's. Unfortunatly they transferred them out in 2005. | ||

| I called it the "Big Gun" in hommage to the AC/DC song. Our tail sign was yellow with a black thunderbolt and I had originally wanted to call it "Thunderstruck" but the Squadron jet 90-0801 was already being called that. I used Black and Gold dividers in the forms and in November 1993 it won the Preened Falcon award for the 388th FW. It was a very reliable jet!! | ||||||
