After initial training and waiting for the last F-106 to leave I assigned and aircraft from Eglin AFB arriving to Tyndall (Aircraft 75-0060) the 60th FS Commanders aircraft. On final approach it had an ESC problem causing it to IFE. When it landed it was damaged to the point of requireing extensive repair. I had to wait for the next aircraft to come from Eglin (Aircraft 75-0080). I was on this aircraft until my departure to Kunsan AB Korea | ||||||

Stayed with the 77th until the return of OIF and went to the 79th for the Lead Super position. when I made SMSgt they moved me over to the Assistant NCOIC position and I stayed there for a few months before they sent me to Iraq. On my return I got order to Kirtland AFB for the F-35 project and I was moved over to stnd up Alert again until I leave in January. |
