I joined the USAF 27 Dec 1995 and I was a C-130 Hercules crew chief for four years at Pope AFB, NC. While there, I was assigned to the 624 MXS (AMC) which was redesignated as the 743 MXS under the 43 AW. I voluntarily cross-trained to the F-16 in Sept. 1999 and was assigned to the 309 FS/56 FW at Luke AFB, AZ. I crewed at Luke from April 2000 until May 2002. From May 2002-May 2003, I was assigned to the 80FS/8 FW, the Wolfpack, at Kunsan AB, ROK. My follow-on assignment was to Misawa AB, Japan with the 14 FS/35 FW, but I was accepted for a tour with the USAFADS, the Thunderbirds. I was at Nellis with the Team until June 2006. I am currently assigned to the ACC Acquistions Management and Integration Center at Langley AFB, VA, working as QA specialist for contracted T-38 maintenance at Whiteman, Beale, and Holloman AFBs.

I was privileged to crew "Juvat Lead" for nine months at the Kun and she was a Code 1 killing machine during that time! In November 2002, we won the Proud Falcon award and welcomed in our new commander, Lt. Col. Eric Schnitzer. My dad served with the 80 TFS while he was at Yokota AB, Japan from 1965-67 and he crewed F-105Ds. It was awesome to crew the 80 FS flagship and with the great bunch of friends that were at the Kun with me! Whodat? JUVAT!
Unit USAF - Air Demonstration Squadron "Thunderbirds" [History]
Period 2003 - 2006
During my three years with the Team, I witnessed the loss of 87-0327 at Mountain Home AFB, the 50th Anniversary of the USAFADS, the conversion of 86-0281 from the Arkansas Air Guard, the 1500th demo in the F-16, and the first female pilot to join the Team. On my last trip with the Team, I was again part of history as we flew the 4000th demo in Thunderbird history at Robins AFB, GA. I also had the privilege of taking an incentive ride with Thunderbird #4, Major Steve Horton. 9.1g's and supersonic! I want to pay my respects to a dear friend, great crew chief, and Thunderbird, that we lost on 8 Dec. 2005, Staff Sergeant Brad Coker. Seven forever!
