Worked as a crew chief at Shaw AFB for my career. Spent most of my time of swing shift.. I think that is where they put the ugly people :) Got out of the military after 4 and went to Purdue. Got my bachelors and masters in Aerospace Engineering. Looking back, crewing was probably the most rewarding job I ever had. Was it the most challenging? No, but every day I went home, I knew that I had a role in making one of the military's best fighter aircraft in service! Above that, the friendships that I made while in the military and the times I had are unrivaled. Current or Favourite assignment79th FS was an amazing squadron.Deployments2 rotations to OSW in PSAB. One of these deployments is when Operation Desert Fox was ongoing.1 rotation to ONW at Incirlik, Turkey. 1 deployment in support of Operation Allied Forces where I was in northern Turkey (Bandirma AB, staying at Erdek, Turkey) |
