Started my career at MacDill AFB in 1978 crewing F4-E later on transfered to F4-D. Did a tour in Osan, Korea returning to MacDill to crew F-16A with a follow on tour to RAF Alconbury to crew RF4-C.
Follow up assignment to Luke AFB, AZ where I once again crewed F-16C. Assigned to QA then to FTD. I was later assigned to Sheppard AFB where after teaching I became a , Training Manager, F-16 CDC writer, Production Superintendent. Had a remote assignment to Cairo, Egypt as a Foreign Military Sales Trainer, stationed at Gianaclis AB. Returned to Sheppard where I once again assumed the responsibilities of a Training Manager/Production Superintendent. Retired from active duty on Feb 29, 2000. Currently working in civil service teaching Aircraft Maintenance Officer Course (AMOC).
Current or Favourite assignment
The best unit I was ever assigned to was the 13th Panther Pac at MacDill AFB, Fl. I guess because it was my first assignment with good people all around.
Deployments
Too numerous to list!
