The United Kingdom accepted the first international F-35 which was delivered in a ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas on July 19th, 2012. Paperwork delivery date was July 12th, 2012. US local S/N: 168315.
23 Jul 2012 [act] ZM135 USAF 461 FLTS F-35B
RAF Squadron Leader Jim Schofield piloted ZM135 for the 90 minute ferry flight from NAS Fort Worth JRB to Eglin AFB. The jet will be used for operational testing and evaluation.

Works along side the 461st FLTS at Edwards AFB, California.
