At 12:48h local, this aircraft suffered a mid-air with TuAF F-16C #93-0686 at 27,000 feet some 15km off the Greek island of Karpathos and consequently crashed some 21km off the coast of that island. Both were involved in a mock dogfight when one of the pilots made an error resulting in the collision. The Turkish pilot, 1st Lieutenant Halil Ibrahim Ozdemir ejected safely with only minor injuries, but the Greek pilot, Flight Lieutenant Konstantinos Iliakis, didn't survive this accident.

The jet participated in a nightly exercise in the Sporades archipelago with three other F-16s when it was lost by radars around 19.41h local time. Unfortunately the pilot, Flt. Lt. Athanasios Batsaras, 35 years, failed to eject. The cause of this fatal crash is still unknown but it is most likely to be attributed to spatial disorientation, more commonly known as pilots' vertigo.

Destroyed in a mid-air with F-16C (99-1538, 604) in an accident at 14:05 local during a training exercise (scenario 4 vs. 2) south of Crete, west of the island of Chrissi. The pilot, Captain Anastasios Balatsoukas, was killed.

Destroyed in a mid-air with F-16C (99-1522, 522) in an accident at 14:05 local during a training exercise (scenario 4 vs. 2) south of Crete, west of the island of Chrissi. Both pilots ejected with Lieutenant Paulos Botzakis being safe and Captain Iosif Anastasakis passing away on August 29th due to his injuries.

The F-16 crashed during a training flight at 13:42h local time, 14 nautical miles north of the island of Gavdos. Both crew members ejected.
