Fell out of the sky near Budel, Netherlands after suffering a birdstrike. Slt. Eric Bosmans ejected safely while on approach to Kleine Brogel AB.

The pilot, Lt. Wouter Rombouts, had to make an emergency landing at Solenzara, Corse. The problem occured after coming back from an air-to-air firing mission above the sea when he had a master caution and decided to land immediately. There seemed to be problems with the brakes. The procedure in this case is the landing with the arrestor hook. The pilot had only minor injuries. Wouter Rombouts is the same pilot that crash-landed its F-16 on December 9th, 2003 with its collegue Ronny Vaerten

During final approach, the nose landinggear refused to exit. The pilot, Cdt. 'Mich' Kerkhofs made a succesfull landing. Damage to the aircraft was limited to the CARAPACE antenna under the intake

Made an emergancy landing at Solenzara AB. Lieutenant Wouter Rombouts stayed with the aircraft. It was repaired.

Nosewheel collapsed during landing at Florennes AB after a testflight delivering the aircraft after it received the Falcon 2000 upgrade. Pilot was SABCA testpilot Serge Martin

Collided with F-16A (88-0047, FA-122) at 11:30 hours near the towns of Somal and Failon, Belgium. Both aircraft were conducting a FAC exercise at the time of the accident. One pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Ronny Vaerten didn't eject and was found in the wrecked cockpit while the other pilot, Lieutenant Wouter Rombouts ejected, suffering minor injuries.

Crashed on approach to Kleine Brogel forcing Cdt. Paul Gillis to eject. The aircraft suffered an engine malfunction causing it to catch fire.

The jet crashed during a standard training flight around 10:30hrs local near the French town of Pluvignert after suffering an engine malfunction. Both pilots ejected safely.

Crashed at Sellingen, The Netherlands in collission with PH-3G8 (Comco Ikarus C42 ULM). One of the pilots, Captain Luc Viane, didn't survive the crash, nor did the ULM pilot. The other F-16 pilot, Cmdt. Martin Levicar, survived with minor injuries

The aircraft was practising touch and goes at Kleine Brogel AB around 15:10 local. After such a practising manouver the aircraft had just left the runway when the pilot, Lieutenant Jean Francois Van Cranem, called out a mayday and a report that he had been hit by birds (birdstrike). The tower reported three loud bangs and a fire erupting from the engine. The pilot ejected immediately and found himself hanging in a tree te be rescued by the fire department at 15:55 local, only sustaining minor injuries. The cause is still under investigiation, but we can fairly say this crash was caused by a birdstrike.

Struck bird and smoke filled cockpit, but pilot landed safely at Ostend Airport. Aircraft was repaired.
09 Jul 1999 [ act] FA-104 87- 0048 F-16A Block 20 MLU Details
Emergency landing at Brüggen AB, Germany after a mission during Allied Force. Cause unknown.
