Fell out of the sky near Bourseigne-La-Vielle (near Gedinne), Belgium during a low-level exercise. The aircraft hit the ground during a turn and was piloted by Lieutenant Yvan Stoffijn, who was killed.

Crash occurred near Hurtebise (near St. Hubert), Belgium. The crew of two, Lieutenant Dirk Creupelandt and Major Gommaire Van Beneden, both ejected safely
23 Jun 1993 [ w/o] FB-11 78- 0172 BAF 1 W F-16B Block 10 A Details
Crashed during delivery from Gosselies, at Marche-en-Famenne, after getting the Falcon 2000 update. Both crew from the BAF Flight Test Centre, Major Frank Dewinne and Lieutenant Colonel Marc D'Espallier, ejected without injuries.

Collided with F-16A (FA-31, 78-0146) 30 km South-west of Limoges, France. For Slt. Albert Jonnart the collision was fatal. The tail section was ripped off and the aircraft automatically climbed to 5,000 ft. Did the pilot try to eject? Fact is that the ejection seat was activated upon impact with the ground and only at that moment the pilot was seperated from his seat. The pilot of the other aicraft, Danny Faye, managed to make an emergency landing at Limoges.

Destroyed in a mid-air with F-16A (78-0127, FA-12) near Kirgirac, Turkey. The pilot, Cdt. Donald Vercaemst, was killed

Two flame-outs occured when flying over France. After two succesfull airstarts, the aircraft landed safely somewhere in France

During a simulated emergency landing at Kleine Brogel AB, the aircraft hit the runway very hard and was severely damaged. Nevertheless the pilot managed to get the aircraft airborne again but subsequently crashed in Overpelt, Belgium. Slt. Mark Mussche from 23 Squadron ejected safely, but the aircraft was from 31 Squadron.

When attending Night Vision Goggle/Targeting Pod-training in El Centro (USA), pilot Cdt. Phille Heytens had a crash-landing. While landing, the FA-60 broke his left landing gear and the plane stopped next to the runway. Heytens stayed cool and remained in his cockpit. The FA-60 was planned to be stored at Weelde this year, so it will probably not be repaired although repairable

Destroyed in a crash near Kaulille, Belgium after impacting birds. Pilot, Captain Bernard Flamang, ejected safely

Destroyed near Kleine Brogel, Belgium. Captain William Drieskens was killed in the accident. During a nightflight, while participating in exercise 'Cold Fire 87' the pilot notices a serious defect on the tailplanes. During the emergency landing at Kleine Brogel the pilot looses control and crashed.

After experiencing a main generator failure, the aircraft landed safely at Leeuwarden AFB, Netherlands

Crashed near Petit-Han, Belgium. Collided with a French Jaguar A (A116/11-MW) of the 2/11 'Escadron de Chasse'. Captain Jack Cavanas ejected safely but his french counterpart, Capt. Michel Prunas, didn't survive the accident

Impacted the ground near Rummen, Geetbets, Belgium at approximate co-ordinates: 50°53′N 05°07′E, due to loss of control. The aircraft was piloted by Captain Martin Levicar. He tried to reach the Beauvechain AB but as the back-up system failed, he jettisoned the auxiliary fuel tanks over Rummen and ejected safely. He landed with his parachute in an orchard between Rummen and Nieuwerkerken.

The nosewheel collapsed when taxiing to the runway at Kleine Brogel AB.
