RCAF C-130 Crash Trenton Ontario 1966

I lived in a house about a mile from the crash site, the crash made our house shake. My dad was a Herc pilot at the time of this crash, I remember the problem was one of the outer propellers went into reverse thrust. The Herc was quite close to the ground and couldn't recover. It was a common problem in the early Hercs. After my dad retirement he worked with CAE along with a few other retired Herc pilots, running the simulator program, I had many chances flying the simulator, my dad programed the simulator to perform the same crash scenario without my knowledge. I recovered the airplane.
