aircraft C130E 621829 Langley AFB, VA

This aircraft while assigned to 316 TAW was specially modified

for the "Bound Boy" project. i.e.. "C" Flight . Along with Sisterships -62-1819, 62-1821, 62-1822, & 62-1828 were modified by Skunkworks at Ontario, Cal. Only specially trained Crews from the 36th, 37th & 38th Sqdns. could fly them outside the continental USA with approval of JCS. I flew all of the above mentioned A/Cs thru out Africa and Asia. ( 1968 thru 1972 ).
