At Sheppard AFB as a GF-16C for the crew chief school. The aircraft was to go to AMARC but Sheppard AFB was able to secure this F-16 and F-16D 86-0039. A one time flight only was granted to move the aircraft.

This jet was my first F-16. I was assigned to it as Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief around February 1992 when I was assigned to my first base "Nellis AFB, NV" and my first active duty unit "Viper". After months of working, shining and wiping it, the T-Birds took it from me :(. It has been a proud T-Bird for years. I was really proud that my jet was good enough to be a T-Bird!
