Destroyed at ├śrland AFB, Norway, after being 'borrowed' by a ground crew member. The aircraft was stolen by a member of the ground crew and the aircraft crashed on a farm in the neighbourhood of the village Brekstad, close to ├śrland AFB. The 28 year-old military took, in absence of his colleagues and pilots, control over the aircraft, started the engine and took off, to the surprise of the Norwegian crews. Five miles from the base he crashed after being airborne for 2 minutes and 5 seconds.
