Virginia Air Guard 50th Anniversary paint scheme

Steve O'Dell, a civilian volunteer to the 149FS, and LTC Bill Martin (Ret) designed the 50th anniversary paint scheme in the Spring of 1997. 50 Years Flying for Freedom was the theme. Notice the blue and white stars on the bottom fins. Also notice that the white stars on the vertical stab count is 13, one for each of the original 13 colonies.
